Which groups of three Lotto 6/49 numbers have never come up?
Of the 18,424 groups of three the Lotto 6/49 pool allows, 146 have never been drawn in 4,462 draws, where chance predicts 145.
A group waits because there are a great many slots to fill, not because its numbers are unlucky. The one thing that does mark the waiting list out is how long each group has been available to be drawn, and that is what the rows below are arranged around. Your own numbers go in the box further down.
What was measured 20 groups per draw
A group of three is three of the pool's numbers in no order. Draw 4462 was 092022293747, which holds 20 groups of three, so across 4,462 draws the record has drawn 89,240 groups counting repeats, and 18,278 of them were different, against the 18,424 the pool allows.
One named group sits inside one draw with probability 20 in 18,424, about 11 chances in ten thousand at the pool of 49, so a group goes unseen through a draw almost every time and the predictions below are those near misses multiplied together over the draws that could have held it. This game has drawn from one pool of 49 numbers throughout the record read here, so every group has had the same 4,462 chances. Each prediction is still summed over a group's own run of draws, which stays right if the pool ever changes.

The groups the pool allows, cut into rows of roughly equal size by what they add up to
| Group adds up to | Chance waiting | Waiting |
|---|---|---|
| From 6 to 46 2,282 groups | 180.79% | 241.1% |
| From 47 to 57 2,187 groups | 170.79% | 291.3% |
| From 58 to 66 2,329 groups | 180.79% | 190.82% |
| From 67 to 74 2,270 groups | 180.79% | 231.0% |
| From 75 to 82 2,281 groups | 180.79% | 180.79% |
| From 83 to 91 2,366 groups | 190.79% | 80.34% |
| From 92 to 103 2,427 groups | 190.79% | 150.62% |
| From 104 to 144 2,282 groups | 180.79% | 100.44% |
The rows are cut from the pool alone, before any draw is read, so that each holds about the same number of groups, between 2,187 and 2,427 of them. That makes the shares in the last two columns comparable from row to row. Every group here has had the same chances, so chance predicts the same 0.79 in a hundred waiting in every row, and the record runs from 0.34 to 1.3 in a hundred. The widest gap between a row and its own prediction is 0.51 in a hundred, in the row from 47 to 57. Some row has to be the widest of eight, so that is where a list of this length starts rather than a finding about those sums.
Nothing in the tables here is printed in red, and that is deliberate rather than an omission. The groups are not independent of one another: one draw lifts 20 groups at once and they share numbers. Expectation is additive all the same, which is why every prediction above is exact, but the spread of these counts would need the covariance between groups that share numbers, and that is not honestly available. A range would have to be invented, so none is given. The figures on this page that do carry ranges are read a different way, draw by draw, further down.
Recent trend last 100 draws, then blocks of 20
Red marks a figure outside the range ordinary variation produces
The same record read the other way round, one draw at a time. Going into a draw some groups are already on record, and the rest of that draw's 20 groups are first timers. That count has an exact prediction and an exact range, because a draw's prediction is read off the draws before it and never off itself. The first 100 draws brought 1,872 first timers against a predicted 1,897, and the last 100 brought 11 against 17. Chance predicts the fall between the two: the fuller the record, the more often a draw repeats a group it has already had.
First timers per draw, one point per block of 20 draws
result for the blockrange ordinary variation allowsoutside that range
Oldest block on the left, newest on the right. The band is what chance predicts for those same draws, worked out from each draw's own pool and from the groups on record going into it. It runs level across this stretch, the record being full enough that another draw of it changes little. No point sits outside the band. Across ten blocks, chance alone puts 0.46 of them outside, so a point outside would not be explained by the number of blocks read.
Applied to this draw draw 4462 · 2026-10-24
Draw 4462 was 092022293747 from a pool of 49, which holds 20 groups of three. Every one of them had been drawn before, where chance predicted 0.16 first timers, which is 0.4 standard errors below it.
This draw took nothing off the waiting list, which is the ordinary case once a record is this full.
Try your own numbers which of their groups are still waiting
Three numbers from 49 are enough, and up to six are read, a whole draw's worth. Every group of three they make comes back with its record, the ones still waiting first.
Nothing typed yet, so these are the lowest six numbers the pool has.
Those numbers make 20 groups of three. Every one of them is already on record, where chance predicts 0.16 of them would still be waiting.
Further groups are not shown here, 8 of them.
