Contact and frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Do these statistics improve my chances of winning?

No. Every number is equally likely in every draw, and nothing on this site changes that. A lottery draw has no memory: a number that has not appeared for fifty draws is exactly as likely tonight as one that came out yesterday. What these pages do is show you what chance actually produces, so you can see how ordinary a run of results really is.

Then what are the wheeling combinations for?

A wheel does not make your numbers more likely. It arranges the numbers you have already picked across several lines so that IF every winning number happens to be among your picks, at least one line is guaranteed to reach a stated prize tier. It is about collecting the prize you are owed, not about winning more often. Every design here is verified by checking every possible case, not by sampling.

Where do the winning numbers come from?

The Canadian games come from two independent operators, WCLC and BCLC, and a draw is only stored when both report the same numbers. Powerball and Mega Millions come from the State of New York's open data, which is the official published record. Figures are recomputed automatically after each draw.

Why do your Powerball totals differ from other sites?

Because Powerball changed its format on 7 October 2015, from five numbers out of 59 to five out of 69. Draws before that date were a different game, so counting them together would mix two things. Everything here starts at that change. Mega Millions is counted from 8 April 2025 for the same reason.

How often is the site updated?

Within a couple of hours of each draw. If a result looks stale or wrong, please say so using the form below and include the draw date.

Do I need an account?

No. You can use every statistics page and the combination generator without signing in. An account only exists so your saved numbers follow you to another device.

Can you add my lottery?

Possibly. Adding a game is mostly a question of whether a reliable published record of its draws exists. Tell us which game and where its results are published, and we will look at it.

I have a gambling problem. Where can I get help?

Free, confidential help is available. In British Columbia, call 1-888-795-6111 or visit GameSense.com. In Ontario, call 1-866-531-2600 or visit ConnexOntario.ca. In the United States, call or text 1-800-GAMBLER. This site is for people aged 19 and over.
